However, they all had to go to prep lecture at

This is a real Indian approach to an event. It
doesn't work very well in the West at all. People are

figures. They tend to trust their own experience over
the sanctioned perspective.

 We did it all. We

...futile attempt at justifying a waste of time and inefficiency in
action. The way you lose attachment to the fruit of action is through
contacting the transcendent on a daily basis and contrasting that
experience with activity.Your Purusha's friend take on "stop start
change" is as legitimate as saying that MMY is testing people's intelligence
by having them do stupid things until they realize that they are stupid and
will stop doing them and refuse to do them anymore and that they should
stop following gurus because that's not the path of TM.Actually, the way to lose
attachment to the fruit of action is to understand beyond all doubt that there
is no fruit to action because the field of activity is so vastly interdependent
that nobody can control variables to the degree to acheive the fruit, and
because even if one does acheive the fruit it cannot be savoured as intended. So
therefore one simply makes the decision once and for all not to be attached.

Furthermore, if one goes further
and marries the idea of devotion or service then one constantly gives the fruit
to others, and so no fruit is ever actually had. In fact, it makes the best
sense, whether one is a basically good and giving person, or whether one is a
bad and selfish person to be generous because you will get more back from
sharing then if you hold onto everything. This very tenet is the reason that the
path is for everyone, and everyone, regardless of nature can benefit from
generosity.

always called for. For any business.

However, I hold that MMY is not running a business
 but primarily is
culturing individuals and groups. Its all
 self-referral, wholeness
moving wholenss as SSRS said of his take on the
 activity around MMY
(where he spent 10 ys or so).

In talking to a long time purusha friend once, he
 was describing the
projects and stop start change of course nature of
 it all, he said its
a great way to lose attachment to the fruit of
 action.

Another former 108 friend use to get very mad when
 MMY would take HIS
project and give credit to someone else, while my
 friend did all the
 work. Classic ego-busting techniques.

Or MMY would lavish attention on someone, inviting
 them for long chats
for months, then suddenly ignore them for months.
 Sooner or later it
 builds self-sufficiency.

And if wearing robes and a crown in public doesn't
 bust any seed of
humiliation or foolishness in you, I don't know what
  will. (SSRS
actually uses an Act like a Fool method where he
 has people stand in
front of an audience and has them act as foolish as
 they can. He eggs
them on no! you can be MORE foolish, be really
 silly. Once you do
 that, not much phases you)

So while I may not understand MMY's specific tactics
 all the time, I
appreciate the gist of it. But I get caught up
 sometimes in watching
things MMY and the TMO do from the mind set of
 common business
methods. And thinking how silly things are. Which is
 probably a way he
 is working on my boundaries.

And I think he is in ill health, out of balance,
 some demntia
probably. Combined with his cultural/class ethics.
 All which adds a
 real oddness to the mix.

Same take as I have, Akasha. It's really all for the
good of everyone involved. You can't take it very
seriously. Sincere, devoted action and intent, but you
certainly have to let go of the fruit of that action
otherwise you'll go mad!

Please. Malls in different parts of the country
 almost certainly have
different payment schedules. The plan, as stated,
 would likely have
worked just fine in a lesser market like Tucson, and
 liely, anywhere
in Iowa, which is where they probably did their
 buesiness analysis.

If you want to blast them for not checking the
 requirements in NYC
and so on, that's legitimate, but in fact, they now
 have and found
out that the initial version of the plan isn't
 practical for all
 parts of the country.

My intention is not to blast anybody. But when you
have a part in MMY's play, why not play it properly?
My only experience with commercial real estate is in
Boca Raton, Florida which is rather pricey (we pay
$2790 per month for our 5 office suite). Many people
are afraid to speak their simple experience around
MMY. There seems to be this subtle pressure to conform
to the overt message regardless of what you know and
what you experience.

And I think he is in ill health, out of
balance, some demntia probably. Combined with his cultural/class
ethics. All which adds a real oddness to the mix.Same
take as I have, Akasha. It's really all for thegood of everyone involved.
You can't take it veryseriously. Sincere, devoted action and intent, but
youcertainly have to let go of the fruit of that actionotherwise you'll
go mad!---Letting go of
the fruit of the action during sex is very easy.

For
something that reduces your mortality rate by 20% or more, $2500 is a
  bargain in that context.

Walking on a tread mill twenty minutes once a day will also
extend your life time but most people that buy them end up storing them in the
garage where they end up collecting dust and taking up room. I would
suspect the average person who has never transcended is thinking about the same
thing when he hears 2500.00 as a fee. "Will I use this or just throw it away
like all the other self improvement things I have tried in the past. Hm
2500.00 is a couple of mortgage payments, maybe it would be wiser to hold on to
that money."
