I don't have real experience with this issue, but as an ex user of weft for Tamil fonts, I know that its usage seems to be font dependent, not because it is too complicated, but because the font doesn't allow embeding. How to go around this...I don't know. But is the WEFT way really necessary today? Or is it because of the different shapes that you need to use WEFT?
