Yes, I see that. Someone on the Csound list built the faustcsound opcodes on 
Ubuntu but could not load them because
this symbol was missing. I am now supposing his installed faustlib version is 
old.

In Ubuntu, I had reports about an undef symbol 

undefined symbol: _Z16deleteDSPFactoryP16llvm_dsp_factory)

do you know if this is because an old faust lib is used? Or is it because a 
newer library doesn't have this symbol?

That symbol is not in the API, is it? It may indicate a problematic faust lib 
installation, don't you think?

On MacOs with 2.33 I don't have that problem.
