however not much of a issue to release a new version because of it, I'll
maybe change it the rpm. And yes, the Nodoka theme is maintained by the

better way would be filling a feature request in trac [1]).

But thanks for noticing, this somehow slipped my mind...

Sorry for the delayed reply--my bleeding-edge laptop is sorta crippled

Does that seem understandable? Bellow this text is a table with icons
that are being fixed.

Another think I'd like to ask is whether you consider the Echo ToDo
Menus page good and complete enough to 'undraft' it (i.e. remove the
draft warning and link to it from other pages).

After the today's update it started to work for me too (in the old
clearlooks gtkrc there was tooltips_{bg,fg}_color, and it should be
tooltip_{bg,fg}_color...)

So, I patched the Nodoka theme and it works as well. It's building now.

Maybe the problem is with my config (upgraded from F7 to rawhide, it

as well as some other things like NetworkManager's applet), will recheck
when I download today's updates. Oh, and I enable it in rawhide's nodoka
as well, I have already prepared the gtkrc so it basically only needs to
be patched (too small changes to release new version) in the rpm and
rebuild. I'll do that probably tomorrow, I am quite tired today...

Now that I think about it a little more... There isn't any text drawing
functions in nodoka engine, so I assume that the text is drawn by gtk
itself, am I right? Than it must be a gtk bug that the text colour is
always black in tooltips. Or anywhere else?

Definitely not Nodoka problem, just checked Clearlooks (changed the
tooltips fg colour setting to red) and it has the same issue.

So there are currently two issues making the implementing not much
valuable - the colours cannot be selected in the appearances dialog even
if gtkrc supports it and the tooltips text colour is always black.

So in order to avoid this reaction I played with the colours still more
and issued new versions. I also added user-home and folder-remote icons
- as the folder, which is base of these icons, is identical to the one
in folder icon, it should be easy to fix the colours in those as well,
if we change the colours of the folder once again. Check the same page
again (still not able to log in my fedorapeople account) [1].

It would, if it actually worked. I run rawhide and noticed this feature
quite a long ago and added it to my local copy of the nodoka gtkrc file,
but we do not support text colour yet in the nodoka engine and so I
didn't pushed it to upstream yet. But with some updates this feature got

Hi,

the shadow, especially in the smaller icons, seems to be positioned
wrongly. I think it would be better if the shadow were positioned like
in other action icons, e.g. dialog-ok [1]. I'd also suggest to
experiment with the shape a little - e.g. try rounded corners, like in
the gnome icon or perhaps try a completely different take (similar style
like in other echo action icons, like dialog-ok, appointment-new [2] or
help-about [3])?
