Ask and you will receive!
You signed the CLA and are eligible to edit the wiki. Create an account
(probalby SethKenlon, to follow the rule), ping back and I will add you
to the EditGroup.

I approved the other day your request for membership in the Art group of
the FAS based on your recent activity on the list.

The fedorahosted proposal *may* be outside of the logo usage guidelines.

I think we're all pretty open to attribute as needed. I think in the
past we've set the artwork as being GPL and also made it available under
CC-BY-SA. If that makes sense here let's do it.

Waves Syslinux Graphics

2008-03-27 Thread Máirín Duffy

Hi folks,

I whipped up a couple versions of the syslinux artwork for the waves
theme. (You see this when you first stick the install disc in your
system to install Fedora)

I'm not sure which version is better. Let me know what you think. I
tried adding sulphur to them but it didn't really come out right.

And I like better version 1. for consistency (all the other screens have
reflection in the water, not on an additional plane) and 2. for physical
reasons (we have waves on a liquid surface and a plane and is not
realistic at all - the water is like a wall).

However, I agree the second look more contrasting and we had that bottom
reflection plane in F8 too.
