I agree it will be silly to set sound associate as specific continent.
The set should aim to get generic or universal. If necessary, the user can
choose a preset of sound on post-installation.

Provided of course we could find a PD/CC performance :D

Fedora 8 will be graphical revolution (thanks to Nodoka and Infinity 
theme), but we really need to change sounds (GNOME must too).

Ubuntu sounds are "associated" with Afrika.
Fedora should be with America... But I don't want it.

If you don't like birds on login, I must to think about something 
original.

Maybe gentle note of piano? Or something smooth, XP-like?
Futuristic as Vista?

I agree that sounds need to get in Fedora. but birds for the login..??
please don't.
Those ubuntu sounds are cool but too long to use (specially login).

btw does anyone know which programs i can use to make those sounds?
