Susmit, it is spelled leonidas not leonidus.

As for the button, I don't think the leonidas and fedora 11 text
should be on it, it is too small, hard to read and not really usable.

I am not a big fan of that, but if you want you may try a button design
with a simplified version of the lion head (the layer taken from the
wallpaper .xcf) over a blue background and maybe the fedora word.

I don't think this is coming out good.

I have made a simple one here:

Umm, I guess if you please have a look here

and let us know what designs do you want, we can modify them for F11.

marketing which I want to share with you and your outstanding ideas in

 Hi folks,

So I promised I'd send you a photo of the physical proof I received from
the printing company (MaverickLabel.com) for the stickers. There were
actually some issues with it (and the proof wasn't actually sample
stickers, just the stickers printed out on-size on some nice paper for
color comparison so the photo wouldn't have been super awesome anyway.)
I've been through a few rounds with the printing company to correct
various issues and I just received a digital proof from them that I'm
pretty happy with. I've attached it for you to see.

The colors are PMS-2935 and PMS-541. The pink lines show where the die
cuts will be made and thus how the stickers can be peeled off the sheet.
The proof is scaled pretty small: the sheet is actually going to be
roughly 8'x 10' so there's plenty of space to write in the 'write your
 own' sticker bubbles.

If we approve it by COB 11/24 I'll receive them by 12/02 which is in
plenty of time for FUDcon Boston in January.

Does this look good? If you see any errors or issues let me know and
I'll have them fixed, otherwise I'd like to send to send them my
 approval ASAP.

 Thanks :)

Well, the nice thing about these stickers is they're *extremely*
inexpensive. So we can hand out a sheet or two per person, and people
can paste *both* a freedom bubble and the logo together! :-)

JUst a question nothing more; but ...

I think you mean Leaders, not followers. But I think it's important
for us not to develop too many official slogans, because it dilutes
our message. What is Fedora? 4 Foundations? IFV? Leaders? ZOMG
stickers!!!1!!? (Just kidding about that last one.)

But the *other* nice thing about these stickers is it gives people a
chance to personalize them, so you can have your own special slogan
and put it next to other Fedora stickers -- making it your own!

The T-shirt shown doesn't have our official logo on it, but I think
there ought to be one -- a small one on the upper back, or on one

If I understand Paul's request correctly, the requirement is to have

on the sleeve (I think I would like it better this way, just like the
sleeve of the polo shirt, only without the ambassador word and with

Just applying the logo (I believe Fedora EMEA e.V. already has the

sleeve).

Now for the *real* question: when and where can I buy one of these?

Nicu, it'll be a pleasure for the EMEA e.V. to organise with the next

But we need to collect orders because otherwise the shipping and handling

The logo (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo) consists from both the
logotype (the fedora text in a light blue Bryant font) and the symbol
(the infinity bubble).

According with the usage guidelines
(http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines) in some cases one
can use either the logotype or the symbol, but usually when talking
about the logo one understand a composition including both of them.

Also, according to the guidelines, the logotype is light blue, but when
used against a dark background, it is allowed to make it white, that was
the case with the blue ambassador polo I mentioned before. When I said
blue text I wanted to make a distinction: to not use a blue text like
in that case, but the normal light blue.

Attached is what I think you are describing, but not what I understand
Paul asked for. Anyway, if you like it, feel free to use.

The source is the SVG of the logo, which is trivial to get (acailable
in many sources of our graphics) but officially you have to ask for. So
if you asked for the logo to create the polo, I bet you have the file
somewhere :p

there ought to be one -- a small one on the upper back, or on one

To summarize the requirements:

FRONT of the shirt:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Image:Artwork_T(2d)Shirt_tshirt_love.png

BACK of the shirt:

https://fedoraproject.org/w/uploads/2/2d/Logo_fedoralogo.png

(but smaller, and up near the top in the center, by the neck).

I envision us having the shirts printed in white.

That's it! Let's not make this any more complicated than we need to!
:)

The only question worth asking at this point is do the EMEA Ambassadors
like that design enough to spend some of our money producing it?
Personally, I think it is cool, fun, and different from all the other
shirts that we have, and I vote yes.

It's the Fedora logo -- live a little!
