Is this the same as my buildbot failure? I see:

If so, should I just close the bug?

Which is precisely the reason why sysprof was moved to rpmfusion when
kmods were banned from Fedora

Mock issue with ifarch BuildRequires

2009-07-13 Thread Gianluca Sforna
Sorry for the cross-posting, I'm trying to get a clue...

Subject: Mock issue with ifarch BuildRequires
To: Discussion of Fedora build system

I am trying to run the tests included in the BuildBot package during
the RPM build, and one of the tests requires darcs, which is built in
Fedora ExclusiveArch %{ix86} x86_64 ppc alpha.
Now, I'm adding to buildbot's spec[1] file an ifarch like:

%ifarch %{ix86} x86_64 ppc alpha
# darcs ExclusiveArchs
BuildRequires:  darcs
%endif

but it seems darcs is never installed in the buildroot [2]

am I just doing something stupid or there's a bug somewhere?

Is this somewhat addressed in the USB3 specs?

FTR, he actually said "I've all *but* given up on my quest to reduce

I also have a bunch of messages like:

are there any smart kernel parameters I can try to use in order to

FC5 test3 udev hang

2006-03-13 Thread Gianluca Sforna
Hi,
I just put my hands an a shiny Acer Travelmate 8202WLMi laptop so I
decided to give a try to FC5. The installation wen fine, but upon
first reboot I an stuck at:

Starting udev:_

Admittedly, I did _not_ expected FC to work fine on that, having a
bunch of fancy new hardware in there ( Centrino Core Duo, wifi
ipw3945ABG, SATA HD and so on ), so this is just for the records.

If someone also has an idea on how to get it booting, I could try to
upgrade the beast so I can see if newer packages fixes the problem.

Thanks a lot

Gianluca
