Well rel-eng did the mass rebuild and give us a list of the failed
packages, fixing them does not create extra but _less_ work for them
 ;)

Exactly; while rel-eng *could* resubmit failed builds, and may submit
some at some point, we are perfectly happy not to have to, and doing
so will speed things along in general.

Yes, I can do that and various other things. The reason I'm asking before
trying something in random is that rel-eng has not indicated what to do about
cases like this, and there's no way for me to tell whether doing something
like this will cause extra work for rel-eng, break rebuild-needed/failed

I can guess that VA8CLASSFIFILES is a corrupted JAVA8CLASSFILES strings

One common issue for at least 2 packages (jasper being one), was that
freeglut no longer links libGLU, so if your package uses libGLU symbols, it
now needs to explicitly link it (should have done so before, it's only

Alrighty. Jesse, is retiring cogito something Chris needs to do or
can you mark it as dead? (If neither of you have any round tuits at
hand, I'm happy to do the deed, but applying for ownership just to
retire the package seems odd. ;)

I was already in a package whacking mode, so I whacked this one too.
It's dead.

Probably not, did anything depend on it? It'll show up as one of the
removed packages in tomorrow's rawhide report.

From build log:

/builddir/build/BUILD/spambayes-1.0.4
find: `debug': No such file or directory

At first glance this appears to be a problem with the debuginfo
script. Is this a known issue?

It should not even be run on a noarch build, I don't think.

I should make it clear that I'm not the owner of cogito (Chris is),
nor am I a user of it (and I don't play one on TV either). I'm just
some guy on a mailing list saying that package should be retired. :)
