It wasn't reviewable until just recently, because it had a dependency on another package (b43-tools) which had to make it into the distro first. That only happened within the last couple of weeks. There are very, very many open review requests and it's difficult for anyone to note all of the dependency changes. RH> I'm offering beer as a reward. OpenFWWF and Fedora (please look at the review request...)
I've recently obtained a Dell Mini 10, which comes with the BCM4312 LP-PHY. Now, I know it can't work until the LP stuff is worked out, but instead I've been looking at the firmware situation. I knew the firmware was non-free. I didn't know there was a free re-implementation called OpenFWWF. So, yum search OpenFWWF. This turned up nothing. Google was more helpful. A package, waiting to be reviewed for Fedora (with no comment) for over three months. This made me sad. The bug is here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=490892 I've not got the legal or technical understanding to approve or reject this, so help wanted. I'm offering beer as a reward. Thanks, Richard. -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
