It also fails in Safari 4. using the CSS declaration @font-face in SVG files, like so:

For an example of what I mean, try looking at the examples at http://www.alistapart.com/articles/cssatten on a dial-up connection in Safari. You sit there staring at a blank box for a long time (i.e., up to 10 seconds) while you wait for a very small amount of text to display. In terms of rendering time, that's ridiculous. You may want to check that. My test cases all validate for HTML 4.01 strict and CSS3. In the vera2 case Shiretoko only loads 6 out of 10 font files in windows version. In the vera case Shiretoko is generating CSS-warnings for valid CSS3. That's because full standard isn't implemented. For example font-weight: all or font-style: all etc is unsupported by Gecko.
