fedorahosted mtn
elfutils is switching to git, and AFAIK no other fedorahosted projects use mtn. I don't intend to work on the hosting support for mtn any more. (I've stopped maintaining any mtn-related Fedora/EPEL packages too.) Thomas Moschny maintains the mtn-related Fedora packages. He's also the author of the trac plugin. Thomas is the only person I can think of who might be interested in maintaining mtn hosting support for fedorahosted. Unless Thomas wants to take it over, I suggest we drop the mtn support (such as it is). Please note that I would like the existing mtn.fedorahosted.org alias and the run-mtn ssh support to stay around for a while, until all the elfutils developers have finalized the migration. So don't hurry to chop it all off. Thanks, Roland ___ Fedora-infrastructure-list mailing list Fedora-infrastructure-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-infrastructure-list

I had this bounce to my (new) fedorahosted.org mailing list. A few minutes later, I sent a test message and it got through fine. Then I sent this same message again, and it got through fine. I hope there isn't regularly some little window in which lists.fedorahosted.org's mailing lists are unknown to its MTA. Re: DNS serial number
Uh, who cares? It should be at least one less than the number for the second zone update of the day. ;-) The elisp mode I use for zone files does 0. When in doubt, start a 0/1-origin flame war just for the hell of it. ___ Fedora-infrastructure-list mailing list Fedora-infrastructure-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-infrastructure-list

What is the relationship between git://git.fedorahosted.org/git/fedora-infrastructure.git and the configs/system scripts in puppet1:/cvs/puppet? If I want to commit a new version of a script and then get it deployed, what is the procedure? hello
Hi folks. I've joined the list and will apply for membership in sysadmin and sysadmin-hosted groups. I mostly want to hack on cobbling the mtn support into shape, and it seems easier to have access than to just keep bugging Mike all the time (no relation, by the way :-). I can't promise time to attend any scheduled meetings, and I don't have much spare time to work on worthy stuff in general. But if I have access, I will tend to fix random broken things in the middle of the night or weekend when I notice them rather than complain and wait til morning or Monday, and You Can Trust Me. I claim zero facility with web hooey implementation. Other than that, I can usually help fix or whip up scripts and whatnot in whatever language, and know plenty of random sysadminy crapola and arcane unixism that is occasionally useful. git.fedoraproject.org
Just noticed the git server is all kinds of broken for the original uses that worked before the setup got as organized as it is now. git-ls-remote http://git.fedoraproject.org/kernel/roland.git/ git-ls-remote git://git.fedoraproject.org/kernel/roland.git/ If you would like to rename my directories, that is fine. But they need to work by some URL that people can use with git.
