ImportError: /usr/lib64/libxml2.so.2: file too short
I updated my Fedora 11 and now only text-konsole works. When trying to yum update, yum does not start. Python "import yum" gives ImportError: /usr/lib64/libxml2.so.2: file too short. Yum update command suggests that perhaps the named module does not match the current version of Python, which is: 2.6 (r26:66714, Jun 8 2009, 16:07:29). I have libxml2-2.7.5-1.fc11.x86_64. So what to do? No X and no yum. Rpm hopefully works, if I now what to get and from where. F-10 and TPM setup
I'm thinking to install F-10 and need help how to get my Trusted Platform Module co-operate with Fedora. Is there a "How To TPM"? There is a Mac-TPM-Setup guide, but I have not found one for Fedora. Please help. Fingerprint-reader not working after F10 -> F11 upgrade
Fingerprint-reader stopped working after F10 -> F11 yum-upgrade (PC asked to upgrade and I klicked OK). I'm using KDE, no gdm. What to do? About KDM support for fingerprint readers I know nothing, everything just worked (Fedora 10) after reading the tf-tool's README-file and doig what it said. I prefer KDM because I don't know how to set up the GDM the way I want. I remember vaguely, that there once was a setup-tool for GDM? And anyway, why use GDM when KDE is more suitable for my needs?
