help: fedora installation to USB external hard disk
I am new for Fedora. I was trying to install Fedora 10 core to my external USB 40GB harddisk using bootable Fedora 10 core DVD. I have unplugged all internal hard disk for any risk. But while installation it was not detecting USB hard disk. Can anybody help me regarding this issue. Re: pendrive problem
You can use gpart to make your USB pendrive as bootable then try to install Fedora 11 using liveusb-creator procedure. I never try with F11 but I installed F10 same way. Or From windows you can make F11 installable USB Pen drive. Try below link it is very easy way http://www.pendrivelinux.com/install-fedora-9-to-a-flash-drive-using-windows/ On Fri, Jun 26, 2009 at 4:42 AM, Germán Racca wrote: > Hi all there: > > I have used 'liveusb-creator' to install Fedora 11 in my pendrive.
