It may have something to do with 
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13389 [1] . . .

The suggested fix for now is adding

 Option AccelMethod XAA

to the Device section of your xorg.conf file. This worked for me.

Nope, don't have that here.

Scrolling and general desktop stuff is definitely slower now than
several days ago.  Something is obviously busted, and was broken
recently.

F9 Xorg update seems slower

Just update the xserver in F9 and now firefox scrolling with the mouse
seems a lot slower. I think other things like window dragging seems slow
too. 

Anyone seeing this? -Louis
