-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2009-13782 2009-12-29 18:33:15 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : fsarchiver Product : Fedora 11 Version : 0.6.3 Release : 1.fc11 URL : http://www.fsarchiver.org Summary : Safe and flexible file-system backup/deployment tool Description : FSArchiver is a system tool that allows you to save the contents of a file-system to a compressed archive file. The file-system can be restored on a partition which has a different size and it can be restored on a different file-system. Unlike tar/dar, FSArchiver also creates the file-system when it extracts the data to partitions. Everything is checksummed in the archive in order to protect the data. If the archive is corrupt, you just loose the current file, not the whole archive. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: New upstream version: * Don't fail when e2fsck returns 1 in extfs_mkfs() since it means the filesystem has been fixed * Extended options (stride and stripe_width), max_mount_count, check_interval are now preserved for ext{2,3,4} * Display the percentage of the operation which has been completed when verbose >= 1 (sort of progress bar) * Display information about physical disks as well as partitions in "fsarchiver probe <mode>" * Fixed bug with archive splitting: the split size was sometimes incorrect due to an integer overflow * Added option "--exclude/-e <pattern>" to exclude files/dirs. It works for both archiving and extracting. * Added support for long options (--option) using getopt_long * Removed the dependency on "which" to find the path to a program * Accept all libgcrypt versions >= 1.2.4 at runtime in gcry_check_version * Using functions from libuuid instead of duplicating code in uuid.[ch] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Mon Dec 28 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.6.3-1 - Update to 0.6.3 * Tue Dec 22 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.6.2-1 - Update to 0.6.2 - Apply fix as requested by upstream * Sat Oct 10 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.6.1-1 - Update to 0.6.1 * Sun Sep 27 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.6.0-1 - Update to 0.6.0 - Fixes licensing issue (no longer links against openssl) * Thu Sep 3 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.9-1 - Update to 0.5.9 * Mon Aug 17 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.8-2 - Enable XZ support * Sun Jul 12 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.8-1 - Update to 0.5.8 * Tue May 19 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.6-1 - Update to 0.5.6 * Tue May 19 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.5-2 - BR e2fsprogs * Tue May 19 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.5-1 - Update to 0.5.5 * Fri May 1 2009 Adel Gadllah <adel.gadl...@gmail.com> - 0.5.2-1 - Update to 0.5.2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
