Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2006-1132
2006-10-31
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Product : Fedora Core 6
Name : thunderbird
Version : 1.5.0.7
Release : 5.fc6
Summary : Mozilla Thunderbird mail/newsgroup client
Description :
Mozilla Thunderbird is a standalone mail and newsgroup client.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

Mozilla Thunderbird is a standalone mail and newsgroup client.

Fedora's version of Thunderbird has been rendering using the
pango text rendering library for some time, but its printing
code has not used the same library for rendering text. This
update enables Thunderbird to print using pango, allowing
various language scripts to render properly when printing.

It is recommended that users of Thunderbird upgrade to this
package which contains this fix.
