Summary: Review Request: mboxgrep - Displays e-mail messages matching a pattern https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=187241 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added QAContact|fedora-extras- |fedora-package- |[EMAIL PROTECTED] |[EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |ASSIGNED AssignedTo|[EMAIL PROTECTED] |[EMAIL PROTECTED] OtherBugsDependingO|163776 |163779 nThis|| --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-05-03 00:03 EST --- Not much to say, really. "BuildPrereq" needs to be changed to "BuildRequires"; this will quiet rpmlint. Since it's just a simple change, I'll go ahead and approve and you can fix it when you check in. Review: * package meets naming and packaging guidelines. * specfile is properly named, is cleanly written and uses macros consistently. * license field matches the actual license. * license is open source-compatible; text is included in the package. * source files match upstream: 4b256de164b8f094db9ccf0e6386d246 mboxgrep-0.7.9.tar.gz 4b256de164b8f094db9ccf0e6386d246 mboxgrep-0.7.9.tar.gz-srpm * latest version is being packaged. X BuildPrereq is used instead BuildRequires, but the requirement are sane. * package builds in mock (development, x86_64). X rpmlint complains of BuildPrereq use. * final provides and requires are sane. * no shared libraries are present. * package is not relocatable. * owns the directories it creates. * doesn't own any directories it shouldn't. * no duplicates in %files. * file permissions are appropriate. * %clean is present. O %check is not present; no test suite upstream. * code, not content. * documentation is small, so no -docs subpackage is necessary. * %docs are not necessary for the proper functioning of the package. * info files are present and installed correctly. * no headers. * no pkgconfig files. * no libtool .la droppings. * not a GUI app. * scriptlets are sane. APPROVED; fix the BuildPrereq: thing when you check in. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review

I'm adding this because syck-python in Extras (or upstream syck, for that matter) doesn't have a dump() function (no serialization, so it's only half of a library) and this parser is more fully featured. It is also YAML 1.1 compliant as opposed to syck which only partially complies with YAML 1.0, and has some robustness issues in the C codebase. It's also a pure python module, which is also a plus for something as simple as YAML. dump() and load() have been manually tested and work, plus there is a suite of unit tests that have also been tested. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review

[Bug 189656] Review Request: lilypond - A typesetting system for music notation
Please do not reply directly to this email. All additional comments should be made in the comments box of this bug report. Summary: Review Request: lilypond - A typesetting system for music notation https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=189656 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-05-02 11:46 EST --- You were right. With the correct permissions, the file is now automatically stripped. I've uploaded updated files: http://webpages.charter.net/qspencer/rpm/lilypond-2.8.1-3.src.rpm http://webpages.charter.net/qspencer/rpm/lilypond.spec As I noted earlier, I'm ignoring the "file-not-utf8" warning from rpmlint, and I'm also not going to deal with adding a desktop file for the time being. If you consider either of these important for approval, I'm willing to reconsider. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review

[Bug 190213] Review Request: gq - Graphical LDAP directory browser and editor

I actually came to look at this review request with a view to seeing if you'd looked at lat (Bug #177580) as an alternative to gq, since gq was dead when I was looking for a GUI LDAP tool myself last year. I'll have to go and look at gq myself now ;-) Anyway, one quick comment on the spec: rather than using a specific mirror in the Source URLs, try using URLs like this: Source0: http://dl.sf.net/gqclient/gq-%{version}.tar.gz Not only will that potentially use any mirror, it's a bit shorter too. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. ___ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@redhat.com http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
