Re: [Felvtalk] gentian violet for ringworm-how?
No one, cat or human, will lick gholdenseal a second time. try it. You'll understand why. I once tried to make a suspesion of goldenseal in honey for myself and it still tasted foul. --- On Fri, 4/2/10, Gloria B. Lane wrote: > From: Gloria B. Re: [Felvtalk] Revolution - thoughts for FeLV?
I use revolution on everyone, but it probably depends on your area of the country,. Heartworms are very prevalent here and one heartworm can kill a cat. As usual cat treatments lag far behind dog treatments. Re: [Felvtalk] gentian violet for ringworm-how?
I have used Gentian Violet for many years for ringworm, and Golden Seal for not quite as long, and both seem to work well. No I don't dilute it, never thought of it, but you might try it. I always start with Golden Seal because it's not as , uh, "purple" as the Gentian Violet, ha! It's also a treatment for thrush in the mouth, but I don't think it's very tempting to use in the mouth, or lick (for a kitty). It would be safer for him and any other kitties around if you could keep him inside full time. Some of mine were outside full time before I rescued them. They are happy to be inside and no having to dodge cars and predators. -Original Message- From: felvtalk-boun...@felineleukemia.org [mailto:felvtalk-boun...@felineleukemia.org] On Behalf Of Emeraldkittee Sent: Friday, April 02, 2010 6:51 PM To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Subject: [Felvtalk] Revolution - thoughts for FeLV? does anyone use Revolution for their FeLV babies?
