It was a difficult decision that we struggled with this past weekend, but was the kindest act of love that we could do for him. I will post more later in a few days when I feel up to it. We're also remembering our precious Digby at this time, since it was one year ago tomorrow (May 24th) that we had to let him go. Marlene Angels Pekoe & Digby

Nina Yes she does do recommandations. She is the one who recomended me to Emergency over Rescue. I myself found better results with Emergency than Rescue. I found that the Em does alittle more for my cats than the rescue but that's my opinion. She is not a vet but she does give flower essence advise. And most have worked for me. I find Sandi helpful and am very happy with her products and service. I have been happy with her service and products for about 2yrs so I order from her online all the time. Thank you for all you and your friends are doing for the animals. Does Sandi do personal recommendations? Another good site for holistic/homeopathic care is Darla's: http://www.kitsnk9s.com/NatCAREHome.htm Sandi has diatomaceous earth for sale on her website. I think I'm going to try using it for my feral colonies, (on the ground, not in their food, I didn't even know it was ingestible). We're having a terrible time with fleas this year and I'm hoping it might help. I've heard of it before, but I'd forgotten about it. Phaewryn has posted about it before. I can't remember if there's any down side to it. Does anyone know if there are special precautions for using it? I guess I better Google it! Nina

A little while back we were discussing RR and I mentioned that I'd heard of something similar called "Emergency" Essence. They're made by a company called Australian Bush Flower Essences. I just ordered it and another one called "Relationship" from Earth Spirits, http://www.earthspirits-herbals.com/ a distributor for them in, I think it's in MA. If you decide to give the FEs a try, don't order from ABFE! They charge $12.50 a bottle, (ES charges $11), but the kicker was they wanted $55. for shipping! Does anyone just click and pay that?? They also had the FE in cream form and mist spray. I'll let you know if the EE and Relationship works better than RR with helping ferals/newcomers to my household. Nina
Subject: Allie has said good-bye
Jennifer I am very sorry to hear that you had to say good-bye to Allie. I think it's the hardest thing to do and as you said she was ready I think you gave her love and she enjoyed her time with you both. You will have found memories living in your hearts and minds forever. She will be watching over you both now as she jumps and plays from cloud to cloud. My heart goes out to you both Carla Message: 3 Date: Wed, 17 May 2006 11:38:07 -0700 (PDT) From: Jennifer Ross <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Allie has said good-bye To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" First of all, thank you all for all your prayers and good wishes. You are an amazing group of people and Allie and I are blessed to have had you in our lives. As you know from my last post, we made the decision to help Allie cross the bridge on Monday because she had declined so much over the weekend. And I really think she was trying to tell me no more (she hates vets, needles, pills, etc- always has). It was probably also hard for her to be indoors as she was always an outdoor cat and loved everything about being outside. (She was quite the hunter as well!) So, I cherished Monday night and stayed up half the night with her (for as long as she would sit and cuddle with me). We sat in the big chair in the den together and watched Milo and Otis (a movie about an orange cat and a dog- Allie was an orange cat with white belly and paws). When Allie decided she had had enough she jumped off my lap and almost fell over! One of her back legs was hardly working- it broke my heart! It almost looked neuro- and I definitely knew I was making the right decision at that point. Allie was a very active cat- loved to run around outside and hunt- she was never meant to be incapacitated. (The vet told me later that the leg could have been any number of things- a blood clot, menningitis, etc.- with having both FELV and FIV you just never know) I carried Allie upstairs and placed her on the bed where she slept the rest of the night with me. Yesterday (Tuesday), her back leg still wasn't working right and she was still sluggish. She didn't want to cuddle and hid behind the couch most of the day. We spent her last hour outside together walking around the yard and going to all her favorite spots. She sat on her favorite outdoor chair for a while feeling the sunshine and breeze (and even a few raindrops!) I'm so glad she was able to spend that time outside. I told her over and over again Monday and Tuesday how much I love her and what a good kitty she is. I told her I want her to be happy and not suffer anymore. My husband and I brought Allie to the vet together for our final good-bye. The vet was wonderful and explained everything (since this is the first time we have had to do this it made a big difference to know what was going to happen ahead of time). I asked the vet to give Allie a sedative first since she doesn't respond well to IV's, so she got a sedative and went to sleep. Then at 4:30pm on Tuesday 5/16/06 Allie went to sleep forever with me and my husband by her side. We stayed with her for a while and I took a lock of her fur. She looked so peaceful and I know she is in a better place now. I know this was the right thing to do- she was really suffering over the past few days, but it is still so hard. I miss her so much! I have not been able to bring myself to put away all the cat stuff yet. Last night my husband and I went through old pictures of Allie and relived our favorite Allie moments- there were so many! So now it's one day at a time and one foot in front of the other. I know I will continue to cry a lot and continue to miss her terribly. But I know my baby girl is somewhere now where there is no more suffering and she can run around and chase mice, squirrels, birds, and rabbits all day long. Thanks for listening! - New Yahoo! I sometimes turn the news on sometimes I don't, this morning something told me to turn it on. I had sent a photo of my KC to use on the pet paws section they use on the weather forecast. They told me they would email and let me know when it would be used if they use it, so I don't watch the news every morning. Just now on the weather forecast they showed a photo of the beach, it was overcast and cloudy but in the clouds there was a VERY clear section on the right that loo ked exactly like the outline of a cats face and even more looks exactly like a photo I have of Bailey (a close up I took several years ago), same tilt of his head, same white mark on the right side of his face that made him look like he was always smiling. And the weather forecaster remarked doesn't that look like a cats face, that's when I could clearly see it. I'm going to try and find out when the person that sent it in took it. It looked like the photo in the link below, mostly just the face part ... it gave me chills!

Kerry I am truly sorry for your loss of Pookie. At least Pookie had a good last part of his life with love and understanding that he recieved from you. Working in rescue I know how hard it is to loose a foster and the mishandling at clinics is just horrible at times. I know that Pookie is watching over you and happy that he had found you at least at the time where he need the most love. Hopefully the haunting will end in your mind, sometime no matter how hard we try to be perfect parents we can not help some events that are out of our control. You did the best you can and should not have any guilt you gave him a better life in the short time he had with you. carla Message: 2 Date: Wed, 5 Apr 2006 02:14:18 -0500 From: "Kerry MacKenzie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Pookie has gone. Horribly mishandled by clinic To: Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Belinda, Can you please add my darling negative foster kitty Pookie to the CLS. Pookie was euthanized on Monday March 27 (read on for the way this was mishandled by the clinic, which will haunt me for the rest of my life). Pookie was 16 or 17 and had chronic renal failure. He had also been deaf all his life--he was white with blue eyes, and apparently white cats with blue eyes are often deaf. I took him to the animal hospital associated with the shelter on Monday morning as his breathing seemed labored and he didn't seem to want to eat (he ate from my fingers in the end) or drink. I fully expected to take him home again. A terrible thing happened at the clinic. Even though I remained in the waiting area of the clinic and had even told the intake receptionist when she asked if it was a drop-off that I was not going anywhere, the vet euthanized Pookie without telling me. He apparently had tumors and fluid on the lungs. (Obviously I never saw the X-rays either.) I don't have to explain to anyone on this list how that felt. That I wasn't there to hold and comfort him in his ultimate time of need--even though I was just feet away--will haunt me forever. I wrote a strong letter to the clinic owners the next day, copying the shelter CEO (PAWS), and wrote a second letter today in response to theirs, which raises more questions than it answers. Pookie was a wonderful little guy, bearing his illness and his subQs with fortitude and dignity. He had had a hard life. His guardian, a domestic violence victim, had fled their home last summer with Pookie. She and Pookie lived in a car for some time; it was so hot that she was buying ice bags to keep them both cool. She found her way to a women's shelter, but as they wouldn't take pets, he was transferred to Paws. An observant volunteer noticed he was withdrawn and pushed the shelter director to get him fostered with me (apparently it wasn't straightforward--lot of bad feeling between the volunteer and the director). I am so glad that she did that. Pookie was a joy to have around. I was very concerend about my cats bullying him--he was skin and bone and must have weighed about 5 or 6 lb--but he soon ruled the roost in our house using brain, since he no longer had the benefit of brawn, and had even young thug Tiger whipped into shape within days. The last night he soent here, Sunday, he slept, for the first time, curled around my head, with his little paws gripping my hair. He also had this cute little habit of licking my hands and arms. Although I had the privilege of sharing my home with Pookie for only 5 months (apart from a short break when he went back to his original guardian--it didn't work out) he was the most physically affectionate and loving of all my cats. I loved the little fellow dearly and miss him very much. For such a little fellow he truly has left a huge gap. Kerry

RE: Anemia
Hi I wanted to share this with you all. If anyone has a cat with Anemia this is worth a shot. Antler 8 is good for aniema. I have attached a website you can check out and read about Antler8,and you can purchase from this site too. This is not a cure but it's something some may want to look into or try if you have an anemic cat. Anything is worth looking into to help. Some of you may remember Peggy from TX she adopted a female cat who gave birth to 2 kittens all 3 were felv. Bobby became serverly anemic, I put her in contact with my Holistic vet at the time who recommanded Antler8 to her to try. This really helped him alot. He hung in for 6 months. This maybe be something someone may be interested in trying along with other methods and for those who can afford transfusions or epogeyn it maybe an alterative to try. I don't see this too much but I was looking for protein Thymic A and found it on this one site that sell PTA. Carla http://www.naturedoc.com/products/antler8.html

He was concerned over how much weight she had lost so did a test and he said she can't absorb fat when she eats. He is going to get a biopsy of the intestines and he thinks she may have cancer. He had a very rough night as he just didn't respond to any of the meds that we gave him on Monday.. He was breathing more rapid and harder all thru the night...So this morning when the vet called to give me the results of the aspirate, I told her I was going to bring him in for a breathing treatment and to have her check his lungs...Things just really progressed so fast, I haven't ever seen anything like it. It hadn't even been 14 or so hours that he was jumping in my lap and scratching his post. He was still drinking water, but I couldn't get him to eat anything and I tried it all...That was a first for him as he never went off his food, but was hardly ever sick in his 13 yrs 11months other than an occasional sinus infection.. We made the appt. to go to Dallas, but it is a long drive and with the type of lymphoma he had, it would have been so hard on him...the drive and the tests...I wanted him to have his dignity..and he did...I went back to see him after he had been in the oxygen cage for an hour or so...He was having some difficulty, but not as much as before...He looked at me and the vet tech opened the cage so I could see him and pet him...then he started breathing harder...I asked her if he was starting to die and she said yes...So I picked him up and took him in the exam room...I put him in my lap as I did several times a day, the way he liked to sit with me and told him it was ok, that I was there and he would be ok..He took about 3 more breaths and passed away...He was waiting for me to return, and I will always believe that..He wanted me with him so I am glad that I didn't put him thru anything else...I believe he was ready..He was my "Rock", my tough kitty that has helped me get thru all my other's illnesses...As you all know, how difficult this is to write. I am going to miss him so much...as I am sure Bandy and Lil Rascal will, too.. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, Kerry, Bandy, Lil Rascal and Angel Buster

He kept getting worse and worse. He was barely moving, breathing really hard and panting, no control of his bodily functions...he was ready...I tried feeding him w/ a syringe and also with baby food. He wouldn't let me open his mouth and if I did manage to get some in there, it would just sit there...he wouldn't even swallow. He looked at me like "why are you doing this to me." It killed me. I hope he knew that I was only trying to help him. His HCT was down to 8. He was miserable, and I decided that it was selfish to put him through more when it was so bleak. I wish I wish I wish I had caught it earlier and he would have had time to see if he could respond to the treatments he was getting. I am of course second guessing myself and wishing I could do things over again, etc. I know it's normal to do that, but it's so hard. By the time I finally let him go, he wasn't even there I don't think..empty look in his eyesI think he was already gone. I miss him so much. I only had 5 months with him but it was filled with so much joy. Jake (full name Jake Ryan after the character in the movie 16 Candles) was given up by his previous owner to a shelter. Not sure why, I guess you never do. The shelter usually puts down cats that are FELV+, but they fell in love with him and gave him a second chance. Jake is one of the friendliest, most playful, warm, sweetest cats around. The shelter gave him to the rescue group I used to volunteer for. I was looking to adopt a cat from the group since I was moving to NYC. I didn't set out for a FELV+, and didn't know anything about it, but he was just to precious to live the rest of his life in a cage, which is what was probably going to happen. So I took Jake with me, one of the best decisions I have made. He had a rough go, constantly fighting URIs, diarrhea, and finally the anemia. But he never lost his spirit. Everyone who met him fell in love. He didn't deserve to live such a short life (he was about 2 1/2), but I am glad I was able to make the end of it a happy one. He was so affectionate. Would literally rub everything in sight! My favorite thing was putting my knuckle a few inches above his head and he would get on two legs so he could rub. He just loved rubbing! He would also love climbing on my dresser while I was sleeping, and he was bored, and taking out my jewelry from my jewelry box and throwing it on the floor.it drove me crazy but I would give anything to be able to be driven crazy again! I posted some pictures of him:

Lethargic, not eating as much, not as active, etc. And I also saw him eating his littler. I had a feeling he was going to be anemic and I am sad to say I was right. I have no expereince whatsoever to this so I am all new. The doctor did a Hematocrit and it came back with 10, which he said was in the really bad range. He said that it has probably been happening really slowly so his body has been able to adjust. I guess normally cats in that range are in dire straits. Jake isn't at all, he is just weak. Anyway, he gave him a b12 shot, iron shot and something to stimulate the bone marrow. But he said the prognosis isn't great at this point. He said there is the option of hospitalizing him and doing a whole host of test, Xrays and a transfusion, but I really don't want to put him through that at this point, especially since he is FELV+. I am devastatedI have only had Jake for 5 months (he is about 2.5) and I just love him. I started crying when the vet told me all this. I hope he turns around from this and since you are all experts on these issues I am eager to see if anyone has any suggestions or information to share..

The ER vet said he thought she had slight pancreatitis from something in her GI tract, put her on fluids, etc. But the internist this morning said he thinks there is something wrong with her brain, because when laying on her back her eyes are moving up and down, and because she had balance problems last night. He is having a neurologist look at her later this morning. He said she is a little brighter this morning (anything would be brighter than how she was last night though) but that he is very concerned about the possibility of a brain problem. I am very worried about her, and have a terrible feeling. I pray it is an inner ear infection or something like that. Please pray for her. Michelle

Susan I am so sorry to hear of the lost of your 3. I am sure that Cheyenne, Jack and Sweet Willim Brown will live in your heart for ever. Again I am sorry for your loss. Carla Message: 2 Date: Fri, 17 Feb 2006 11:17:25 -0800 (PST) From: Susan Loesch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" I sadly have 3 babies to add - all 3 were about 2-2 1/2 years old. My little Jack died on Jan. 21. He was the sweetest little orange tabby boy, no bigger than a 6 month old kitten. During his last weeks he was always cold so he always beat me to bed at night and was waiting under the covers for me. Our vet suspects that he had feleuk in his bone marrow but we didn't test him - and on the snap tests he repeatedly tested negative. On Feb. 8th I lost Cheyenne. She was a little Siamese baby - small but not as small as Jack. She was definitely feleuk positive. She came to me at 4 months from a Tx kill shelter -- in fact Gloria and I read about her on this list - and Gloria went to Tx to pick her up along with a great big ol' dlh orange tabby boy, Charlie, who is FIV+ -- and thriving. For the first few weeks I had to make Cheyenne let me hold her - and then one day in my arms she just sighed this big sigh and relaxed and became my sweet outgoing little girl. Then, on Feb 9, Sweet Willie Brown died. He was a tiny tabby when he came to our rescue group - spent his whole kittenhood with one sickness or another and the for the last year and a half was so thin that he looked to be at death's door. He also repeatedly tested negative and our vet suspects feleuk in the marrow. Just a few months ago extensive bloodwork showed nothing but a little anemia and a slightly elevated white count. He finally began to put on weight and I took him to our Board meeting on the 20th to show off how chubby he was. He has always been a favorite of everyone in our rescue group- and he spent the evening sitting on one shoulder and then another. Shoulders were his "thing". I miss that "out of nowhere" feather touch as he landed on my shoulder - have shoulder will pounce. There are now 3 more angels in the heavens and I know they are playing together, all healthy, at the Rainbow Bridge.

Shelia I am very sorry to hear of Rudy's passing. I know that Rudy will be missed Greatly and live on in your hearts forever. My husband and I stayed with her all day she slept between us, so I know she was where she wanted to be. She passed so peacefully looking in my eyes. I have lost a lot of kitties in my life but never one to go so quickly and easily. A few short breaths, no cries and she was gone. Rudy came into my home 13 years ago and she has been the boss ever since. I was at my front door one cold night calling my other kitties home and this pretty little girl that I had never seen before ran in my door straight to my wash room jumped on my hot water heater and stayed there for 3 days. I loved her from the first minute I saw her. I knew she was special and meant just for me. No sharing this one with my hubby. My other kitties were jealous but soon learned she was here to stay. Rudy was what I called my bold protector. She was not afraid of any cat or dog. If she heard me scolding another cat she would run in and slap the kitty. My 3 large dogs were also afraid of her. If one would come running at me to fast she would jump in front of me to protect me and quickly turn them around. She could be in another room and if I stubbed my toe and cried out she would come flying in to see if someone was messing with her Mama. She was diagnosed with felv when she was spayed. I guess she was less than one year old. She was always healthy except she lost all her teeth but one early on so her tongue was always falling out her mouth. She was hard to please with food would only eat fancy feast and not much of that. Would beg for milk and throw it right up if I gave in and gave it to her. I still have know good answers as to why kidney failure. The Vet says it happens in older cats. She was not anemic, but she was running a low temp. I saw know signs of sickness till Sunday morning when she started to stumble when she stood up. Sorry to go on so long but I needed to say how much I'll miss her sleeping in my arms, loving me completely and unselfishly. Sheila
2. Re: Smokey / immuno-regulan (Gloria Lane)
Hi I used it a couple of years ago on my fiv cat. She was anemic and found it helped alot. But she was so far gone by the time I used it she had the side effects of the ill feelings but within a few hours she was like a new cat for a day. There are different protocols. One is 3x a week then decrease to 2 x a week. The other was 2x a week for 2 months? I used the 2x. I wished I did I started with the 3x. Also wish I found Dr Cahill sooner cos he told me to cut the does cos it upset her stomach it made all sorts of noices for about a few hours and she lay there, I remmeber I said oh what did I do then she was fine. He said some cats you ahave to use 1/2 the dose then work up to it depending on the cat. Others had no problem. Carla

Subject: Bailey Update
Belinda Sorry to hear that Bailey is still not feeling all that great. Thought not sure but since he is eating mostly liquid maybe he doesn't have any thing to hold the poop in? There is no consistence to hold it in? Not really sure. Can you give him something maybe to help bind him? I know that Blackberry tea is good for the runs and constipation. On the holistic group some told me that. Maybe try that if you can only get liquid into him. Potato water maybe would have the starchy hold for him. Not can not give any input on the medicines don't know anything about leukeran. Sending healing vibes, thoughts and prayers Baileys way. hugs Carla Message: 15 Date: Thu, 02 Feb 2006 21:51:00 -0800 From: Belinda Sauro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Bailey Update To: "FeLV Talk List [New]" Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Bailey is not doing very good, he is getting 200ccs of food a day but is still wasting away. He is still getting epo 3X a week, and 20mg of prednisolone split into 10mgs twice a day. His diarrhea is for the most part gone, although he did just tonight have a mixture of a solid and runny bowel movement. He is sooo bony and his muscle is all but gone on him, he is wasting away and I am starting to think there is cancer somewhere that we haven't found. He has that cancer look (wasting away). He potties wherever he wants and still just lays around. I'm really worried about him, he seems so depressed. We are suppose to do bloodwork in a week but I don't know that I want to wait that long. Our last option is to add leukeran to the prednisolone he is getting. He will be laying somewhere and when he gets up there is usually a little poop there, so it is still coming out of him involuntarily, he doesn't seem to have any control over it sometimes. Anyone know what may be causing this??? Prayers are really needed, my baby is slipping away from me and I don't know what to do ... -- Belinda

Subject: Re: Lucy-- refusing raw food now
Hi Michelle, When my was anemic and wouldn't eat I tried raw she really didnt like it most of my cats do not some do. My homepathic vet told me that I should not feed raw to a fiv/felv cat. That it's better to blanch it and feed semi raw. Now I know some vets say yes and some say no. Depending on the vet. You may try and blanch 1st and see if that helps and work up to less and less cooked, you know try fully cooked then semi and then raw and mix it together also I did that when I wanted to get a cat to eat raw if they don't raw then little by little less and less cooked. Carla
Subject: Bailey - Update
Belinda That sounds very promising. I know that Epoygen takes time to work I heard from people on the anemia group that sometimes the blood goes down but you don't want it to go up too fast too soon so sounds like Bailey is on the right side of the track. As for the clindamycine, Bamama got the runs from that in fact most of my cats after a few days get the runs when I have to use it. Not sure but most of my cats have a problem with it. 3 out of 4 had a problem when I used it and had the same effect the runs. Go Bailey! Carla Message: 12 Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2006 14:50:00 -0800 From: Belinda Sauro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Bailey - Update To: "FeLV Talk List [New]" Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Hi All, I just took Bailey in to the vet because his bottom is so sore, inflamed, red and poop oozing out (sorry to be so graphic), we are taking him off the clindamycine and she wanted me to take him off the doxy but I'm not going to. I am going to give him a break from all the supps except pet tinic and metamucil. She gave me something called gastriplex to help replace the good bacteria the antibiotics are killing off and he is going back on azithromycin as of tomorrow, had to order it. I have been praying for a miracle all weekend, asking my guides, angels, parents, everyone to help Bailey feel better and help with the anemia. Somebody is listening, his HCT is up to 23% from 15%, he has been on the epogen for three weeks and it actually went down from 18% to 15% before it started coming up. My vet feels it is an accuarate reading (she said dehydration can cause an inaccurate number but because his protein also went down from 7.2 to 6.4 he is not dehydrated). We still have not heard from the pathologist, but she said she is going to bug them until she hears something. Bailey is still lethargic but I attribute that to his bottom being so sore and the diarrhea, he probably just doesn't feel too good, but thankfully things are going in the right direction. He is getting plently of food and weighted 8lbs 12oz on her scale, a gain from 8lbs 6oz on mine yesterday, not sure how accurate that is, her scale is usually 1 oz more than mine, but he is not losing! I was totally prepared for her to tell me he needed a transfusion. So I feel much better now than I did a few hours ago :) -- Belinda Happiness is being owned by cats ...

There was no indication of any problems. She had seemed to be doing just fine. I guess this is the crummy part of leukemia positive kittens, huh?
Subject: Re: Subject: Re: Bailey Update/idea possible
Belinda That has to be him. I don't know his address cos I got his number from someone on the holisticat group when Bamama was sick. She had a fiv kitten that was knocking on death's door and he turned the cat around. Not that he is a miracle worker but I learned alot in my 1 hour phone consulation. He starts at 1/2 hour and it ended up being 1 hour so it cost more but well worth it. My vet was very impressed with the info I go. He offered to speak with my vet (think it was less or free) but I wanted a consult to learn somethings and I figured I had alot of questions too. It was funny cos I had to call this one number who took a message then they transferred it to him and then they called me back after they told him with his comments or he called (don't remember) saying we could set up a consultation. Very caring compassionate man. He was honest and told me things like when I removed Bamama's spleen that was the worst thing I could have done for a fiv cat cos that was her #1 defense for fighting off germs as is a felv cat. (wish I knew that before hand along with fiv/felv cats have enlargened organs sometimes which for them is normal) Let me know if you contact him or you need me to search for the phone number. Belinda Sorry about Bailey, brings back toughts of Bamama. I know you are on Epoygen but there is a vet in Colorado his name is Dr Cahill. He is a very nice man and he is at a diagnostic center for animal. I will tell you I used him for Bamama I had a phone consolation. I basicly was looking for answer with Epoygen since my vet was not that skilled with Epoygen. Unfortuately with me I got him a little late or maybe I could have bought more time. But he has alot of ideas to help her in other ways with stimualant for food and etc. He has alot of old time ideas that work. When I brought some of the notes i took to my vet he was like oh yeah no one does that anymore but we can try it. He is very experience in alot of things I was most impressed with him. If you can't find a listing please let me know i can check wa back to my old notes see if can find a phone number for you. It may be worth a shot, all of the staff that has worked with him have used him and they find him to be very good. He uses some things like Q-10, Vitmin C. He is the one that got me on Protein Thymic A, it is very interest item to use on fiv/felv cats. I have used it on various problems with my non felv/fiv cats and has dones some pretty amazing things. Studies have been done where it has cured some type of cancer in cats but has not be tested enought for it to be marketed. It's used for humans was expensive but if you shop on line you can get it for 1/2 the cost I found the 1st time.
