did i start this whole thing with my "if God made man in His image" statement. i DID INTEND THAT STATEMENT TO APPLY TO HUMANS IN GENERAL, NOT MEN ONLY. we all fall short of God's standards, not just men. my bigget problem is my temper. i am patient with animals, but short with people. you know what to expect from animals, but people are a different story. as indians said, we do tend to speak wth forked tongue sometimes. so lets get off the bashing of people, we can't control their actions and thoughts and just concentrate on helpig our furbabies. anger and bitterness are such distastful dish to eat and causes ulcers. dorlis Second Chance Meows wrote: > I'm afraid to say that I for 1 am insulted by this thread. > first I am a male, > second I have been a single dad for many years and have since remarried, > third I run a sanctuary for felines > please remember people in glass houses... shouldn't throw stones!!! > > > Michael Johnson > Founder/Owner > Second Chance Meows > A FeLV Sanctuary > > > > > > From: Diane Rosenfeldt > To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org > Sent: Monday, September 7, 2009 9:11:04 AM > Subject: Re: [Felvtalk] World without man > > LOL, yes, it means world without "Man" as in the whole species of humans. > That's very clear from the quotes from Dorlis and Lorrie below. > > Diane R. > > -Original Message- > From: felvtalk-boun...@felineleukemia.org > [mailto:felvtalk-boun...@felineleukemia.org] On Behalf Of Laurieskatz > Sent: Monday, September 07, 2009 11:02 AM > To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org > Subject: Re: [Felvtalk] World without man > > I had not seen this thread until now. PLEASE--read the original post again--Doesn't say "MEN"--it says "MAN" as in human beings of any sex. I think we're missing the point of the post... Child Abuse and Spousal Abuse (irrespective of the sex of the abuser) is closely correlated to animal abuse.
