Hey Karen, My friend Joan talked the vet into doing the blood draw and using the test she purchased herself and brings to the appointment; maybe you could try something like that. She doesn't have consistent help and since you need 10 arms to hold some kitties for a blood draw, this way is working for her. Unless there is one they claim can be done without a blood draw I would think it is the same as the vet uses and all you need for that is the snap test kit and a blood draw. The snap tests aren't by Rx so I believe you can buy them from a vet supply place. The needles for blood draw might have to be by Rx, and then there is that part about being able to do a blood draw. Home testing? when to test
I think I was told 90 days. Since I was last on the list tests have become available you can do your self. I would like the expert opinions on this from you guys. My vet charges 30.00 for the combo test this would save me 15.00 per cat.
