The way I see it when there is a disaster or a need for individuals as well these come in handy. I will donate some of these locally as well along with my adoptions. They are free and very useful for people starting out with their new family members. While some people may not agree with certain foods that are in the gift packs but it is free. We don't have the luxury of feeding the more expensive food to the rescue cats/kittens and dogs/puppies. This is perfect for shelters and rescues. That don't have the funding. These gift packs are for all stages of cats and dogs. If afterwards the adopters choose to change the foods that is their choice. I also use the food to coax animals out of their hiding and for trapping. Each adopter gets a Gift Bag.
