Gorgetta - it is far away from you, but there is also a lovely
sanctuary outside of Nashua, Iowa. It's where the mother of my 2
(formerly 3, bless the one I just lost) FelV + kitties went after the
diagnosis. I originally took 2 of the positive kittens, and the
remaining kitten and mother went to this sanctuary. A year after the
adoption I went back to Iowa for the 3rd kitten (well, I went to take
a tour and couldn't resist bringing the 3rd kitten home to reunite
with its siblings). They have wonderful dedicated staff and know all
of their cats (MANY in 3 different houses) better than some people
probably know their own children. Carmen is the overseer and very
kind - I'm sure if they at all have capacity, she would be happy to
