   Hi Terrie,
Yes, we're OK, I don't think we've ever had flooding here, the town
next door will probably flood to some extent from the Puyallup river but
I think we will be OK. Hope you are too. My yard will get pretty mushy
but that's nothing new :)

Have you noticed your home staying really warm?? I've had the heat off
for over a week and it is getting up to 78 degrees in here. I've even
thought about turning the air conditioning on a few days this week!!

Yes, I'm going out in a bit to see how bad Hi-way 2
is...
So far we are fine thank god for all the gravel we laid down
for the home and driveway. The ground is mushy where there isn't any rock or
gravel. The property has a lot of river rock.
My daughter had to call in at work today tell them she wasn't
coming in because she is afraid she wouldn't be allowed back
in.
Still haven't heard from my husband this morning last I heard
from him was about11 pm last night.
He is in charge of monitoring dump trucks at different sites in
the passes and I-90, Carnation, and Duvall. They are working to get sand and
gravel for the lowlands.
I have noticed a lot of dump trucks traveling on Hi-way 2 since
I'm right next to it.

I just heard from my husband he is still at his co-workers
house and they are on dry land. He said he will wait it out for a few hours to
see if he can make it back home. Their jobs were canceled today due to mudslides
and unstable roads.

Hi Terrie,
I'm in Portland - I'm glad that you and your family are safe. Storms are quite lovely as long as you are out of harm's way, I think.

A huge tree blew down across the street from my apartment, but thankfully it was just the length of the front yard of the house it was in front of, so they escaped any structural damage, it did take down the power lines, but by the time that I came back from class everyone had power.

Hubby had to go over the pass to go to Cle Elm and it is suppose to
snow in the passes, not sure if that was today or not, but I hope not he
doesn't have chains for his truck. Hopefully he is on his way back this
way by now.

I'm late coming into this, but I hope
the water level is receding by now Terrie! I've been in many floods back when I
live down in Arkansas, I used to do some pretty stupid stuff too (playing in
waist high water in the roads, etc), lucky I never got sucked down a road drain
or manhole!
