Thank you for contacting us regarding Michael Vick.

There is no change in the status of the agreement between Nike and football
player Michael Vick. Nike will continue to monitor the situation, but has
nothing further to say at this time.

We appreciate that you took the time to contact us and your feedback will be
passed along to the proper department.

Sincerely,

Nike

Please, please make an example of Michael Vick. He is a SICK man, and so many
kids look up to him because of his status as a football player. What kind of
message will you send the future adults of our country if you do not take a
hard stand against what Mr. Vick did to those poor animals? I would like to
see Nike drop Mr. Vick as a spokesperson for your products. Hopefully, Nike
has some sort of code of conduct for its spokespersons that Mr. Vick has
violated so you can legally let him go. I hope you will take the high road by
dismissing this spokesperson who is now reflecting negatively on your company.
I also think that offering financial assistance to the organization that is
caring for the dogs that were seized would be an act of good faith on your
company's part. It would
show that you really do care about what happened to these animals, not just
about your bottom line.

I am not some crazy animal advocate. Half the time, I think PETA is crazy for
some of the things that their members have done, such as throwing food on
celebrities wearing fur coats. I do not advocate that kind of behavior. But I
do believe that the Good Lord appointed us to care for the animals he placed on
this earth, something Mr. Vick does not understand. Sending Michael Vick a
message publicly would go a long way in teaching him this.

Sincerely,
Wendy Escobedo

Question: I'm doing a project and the info I'm looking for isn't on Nikebiz.com
Answer: Corporate information that is made available to the public may be
obtained directly from our website at Nikebiz.com. If you cannot find the
information that you are looking for on this site, it is because it is
information that we consider proprietary as to the nature of our business.

Small surprise there.

Doesn't nike use young children in 3rd world countries to make their over
priced shoes & ugly clothes?
