[FFmpeg-user] RTSP Camera stream and 1 audio stream / Non-monotonous DTS errors

2018-05-20 Thread robert
I have a single camera video and audio stream as input 0
Stream 0:0 Video
Stream 0:1 Audio

I am bringing in ADDITIONAL audio from a separate url as input 1
Stream 1:0 Audio

These are the errors I receive in the log file with some hesitation on
youtube live

[libmp3lame @ 0x29840c0] Queue input is backward in time
[flv @ 0x29780c0] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:1; previous:
24779, current: 24776; changing to 24779. This may result in incorrect
timestamps in the output file.

I am running a recent copy of ffmpeg but get the error with the Ubuntu
distributed version too.

ffmpeg version N-90813-g4ac0ff8 Copyright (c) 2000-2018 the FFmpeg
developers built with gcc 5.4.0 (Ubuntu 5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.9) 20160609

ffmpeg -rtsp_transport tcp -i "rtsp://camip/url" -i "http://audioip:;
-vcodec libx264 -b:a 128k -b:v 3072k -pix_fmt yuv420p -preset medium -r 30
-g 60 -acodec libmp3lame -ar 44100 -threads 6 -b:a 128k -filter_complex
"amix=inputs=2:duration=first:dropout_transition=2" -strict experimental
-f flv "rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/---"

My guess is I am mixing the two audio channels wrong? What I would really
like is...

Video from Stream 0:0, Audio from Stream 0:1 and mix in Audio from Steam 1:0

Both audio sources are mono. Mixing them together is the way it is done
now but I would also be interested to know how to say...

Stream 0:1 Left channel Stream 1:0 Right channel. Probably wont use it
that way but interested in knowing how to do it.

Is there a way to simply drop audio packets instead of receiving the above
errors or am I possibly receiving those errors because I am mixing instead
of merging or some other method?

Please help me understand why I got this error when Downloading & compiling
FFMPEG (Latest Version).

I'm new to this so I don't know how to "Include the log file

[FFmpeg-user] ffmpeg and two (2) logitech 920 webcams

2018-05-20 Thread Brenda Spinner
I am using the following line to preview my webcam:

ffmpeg -s 1280x720 -framerate 30 -pix_fmt yuv420p -rtbufsize 100MB -f dshow
-i video="Logitech Cam#1" -c:v copy -an -f sdl "WebCAM Preview"

this line works fine with cam #1, however when try it with cam #2, I get
the error:

[dshow @ 002d8920] Could not set video options video=Logitech
Cam#2: I/O error

Can anyone tell me why this is happening. I would like to able to preview
both webcams at the same time?

Thanks, Frank

I am using multi-core processor.
I don't know, I followed the reply of Moritz Barsnick.

This indicates no frames were dropped but video does indeed lag audio.

Does it get better over time or worse?

This indicates that decoding with 3x real time is possible.

Is there a reason why you used "-threads 8" in your ffplay
command line but not the ffmpeg command line? Please
remove it unless you know exactly why.

Hello,

I try to re-stream from DASH to HLS (read the HLS-stream by
xupnpd2-Mediaserver and transfer to TV).

ffmpeg version: N-91067-g1c2e5fc454

ffmpeg command: ffmpeg -i

-hls_flags delete_segments  -hls_segment_filename
"/home/user/file%03d.ts" /home/user/stream.m3u8

Sometimes there is such ffmpeg output:
[dash @ 0xd15b40] DTS 8430351390 < 8431247790 out of order
[hls @ 0xd3db80] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:0; previous:

incorrect timestamps in the output file.

7198741, current: 6305940; changing to 7198742. This may result in

libx265 isn't used for decoding, only for encoding.

[FFmpeg-user] ffplay doesn't decode hevc correctly

2018-05-20 Thread mohammed bey ahmed khernache
Hello,
I am using *ffplay *to play back a video.
1) how can I get the details of decoding (fps, miss rate, time, etc)
2) how can decode *hevc *content ?
I compiled ffmpeg with libx265. When I try to play back a video encoded
with hevc, I can not decode it correctly, i.e. ffplay plays it very slowly
as I don't see all the frames.
I am using this command:
ffplay -threads 8

Thank you in advance

The filter does not yet work for 96/24 while -core_only works fine,
you can (for example) test with the following lines (using the file
you found):
$ ffmpeg -i sample.dts -f crc -
$ ffmpeg -core_only 1 -i sample.dts -f crc -
$ ffmpeg -i sample.dts -acodec copy -bsf:a dca_core out.dts
