filmscanners: Vuescan not detecting Minolta Scan Multi Pro

2001-12-11 Thread David Harris

I have a problem with VueScan not detecting my Minolta
Scan Multi Pro. I a using Windows 2000 and followed
the release notes instructions to copy dsscan.inf into
c:\windows\inf however this directory doesn't exist on
my PC - I found dsscan.inf in another directory and
overwrote it with the new version.

It may be called c:\winnt\inf or c:\win2k\inf - whatever
your windows directory is called.

I use Windows 2000, and it's called c:\winnt\inf on my
system. The name of the directory can be specified
when you install Windows.

Alternatively, use SCSI to access the scanner and
install ASPI. In this case, you don't need to install
dsscan.inf.

I copied the file to c:\winnt\inf, but still no dice.
