Thanks Michael. I too, keep the original files in older versions, but I did a
lot of work on this one, and I'm afraid I'll have to do it all again, but this
time I'll start with a default file. It seems I'll be assuming a risk every
time I start a new score from an older file saved as something else.

The file won't open. It may be corrupted. Now I'm afraid, since this problem
has happened before, with other files, to loose those also. These are
probably files from older versions that I've saved as something else in newer
versions.
