[Finale] Midi input doesn't change to patch sounds assigned to the staves
It worked a few days ago. When i recorded w Hyperscribe the midi triggered the different sounds. Now it stays on a human voice sound regardless od which staff i'm recording. Any ideas on how to get this working again? thx, Jim :: j i m f i s c h e r :: p r o d u c e r ♫ ♪ ♫ :: m u s i c b o x :: p r o d u c t i o n s :: v a n c o u v e r, w a, u s a :: www.jimfischer.net ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale

Save your work, quit Finale and reboot your computer, then restart Finale, open the file and see if that changes things. -- David H. Re: [Finale] Score Manager: a sound for expressions?
Thank you very much, Linda. This is in fact a good reason to do so. Maybe can I hear a specific sound for a symbol like forte, crescendo, and so on? Why should I want it? I want it because I make a lot of rehearsal tracks (usually for singers). It saves time in the studio when they can hear what they will be up against with the live players. It doesn't hve to be perfect, but if the dynamics are too weird, it's not very useful.
