[Finale] Metatools Not Working
Suddenly the metatools I have been using don't work any more: articulations and expressions are no longer recalled via the metatool setup. This is going to be a serious issue if I don't resolve the problem. Any hints? It's solved! Quit and restarting Finale didn't work, although rebooting my MacBook got them working as expected. This happens to me pretty regularly in Finale Mac 2012. I don’t know why, but restarting the Mac is the ONLY solution. I really believe this bug is related to the stuck metatool bug I have dealt with for years. And the Finale folks, whatever they’re called today, don’t seem to want to even think about fixing it. [Finale] In finale 2012, maybe driven internal sounds quit working after computer falls asleep.
It seems I enter data with my midi keyboard attached and it's driving the internal sounds. After the computer is asleep for a while and I come back to work again the keyboard will make notes appear in hyperscribe but the sound audio instrument is no longer driven. Anybody else experiencing this?
