Finale 2014.5 changed the way it recognises fonts, apparently. This thread in

More detailed report on JW Space Empty Rests plugin in 2014.5 (El Capitan).

This plug in stops working after a while.  Restating Finale does not fix the 
problem, but restarting the computer does.  I don’t yet know how long Finale 
must be running for the plugin to stop working.  If I find out, I will report.

[Finale] Times LT Std font problem in 2014.5

For some reason, I cannot select Adobe’s Times LT Std “Roman” in Bar numbers 
font selection. Opened files revert to Phonetic style of the font. All other 
font styles are OK. Articulation tool behaves the same.
