Hello, I have a Dell Latitude D830 XP3 laptop with Finale 2012, and last week began having problems with freeze-ups after login--although I could always boot up in safe mode. After consulting with Dell and several procedures, the laptop is working fine again. However, I just used Finale and found it very unstable--threatening to freeze up repeatedly. Finale 2012 has always worked well on this laptop, even with the older OS.
Would anyone know if reinstalling Finale 2012 might help, and if there are any special precautions I should take? My scores are complex, but that has never been an issue before last week's problems.
