I need help with choosing two articulations (this is using the "Jazz"
font) for a trumpet solo transcription.
The first is a slight bend down. I don't want it to look like a fall
off. I chose symbol #71, but I'm not sure if that's the best choice.
The second is a quick bend down and back up on a quarter note. I'm
guessing that is what symbol #38 is for. But not quite sure where to
place the articulation. If I place it after the note, it looks too much
like a tie. So I'm thinking maybe it should be placed centered directly
over the notehead.
Sorry, I know these are more notation questions than Finale questions. :-)
