[Finale] mac Fin files to PC
Hi all- a friend has several Mac disks with older Fin files. He no longer has a Mac (and I reluctantly moved to PC myself 3 years ago), so what's the best way to get these files over to my PC where I can access them and do the work he wants? (If he still had a Mac I'd just have him upload the files to my server, etc) I saw a utility from a websearch called Macdrive- does it work well enough?- and will I be able to get the files AND their resource forks intact in a way that makes them openable on my PC? any suggestions welcome!! many thanks in advance- Cecil Rigby rigrax at earthlink.net Liberty, SC ___ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
Re: [Finale] mac Fin files to PC
Simple. You add a .MUS to all the files. MacDrive would work just fine as well...though the last Mac that had a floppy drive was made in like..1999 On Fri, May 16, 2008 at 6:52 AM, Cecil Rigby [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi all- a friend has several Mac disks with older Fin files. Re: [Finale] mac Fin files to PC
There are free downloadable programs that enable a PC to read Mac floppy files. At 5/16/2008 09:52 AM, Cecil Rigby wrote: Hi all- a friend has several Mac disks with older Fin files.
