Re: [Finale] European dealers

Not exactly, but the postal service does not pass customs if the declared
total value is less than a certain amount.

For many years I have been receiving packages from Amazon without paying
custom duties.

They all came by postal service and their value was about 150$ each time.

If I use UPS, DHL or something like that there is always an outrageous 30
euros fee plus the duties (10% in Canary Islands).

And of course I don´t thing this is illegal.

Try to tell Coda to send it by USPS (postal service), and since the value is
less than 90 euros, you should not pay VAT on arrival.

Thanks. Do you mean the VAT depends both on the value and the shipping method?

As I said before, simply order it from the main Finale page. They will send
it to you.
Javier.

Over two weeks ago, I wrote to Makemusic's French dealer inquiring about
the availability and the price of the 2005 update (standard English
version). No answer. Four days ago, I wrote to Makemusic's International
Sales expressing my surprise and asking them the same questions. No answer
 either.

Does anyone know of any dealers in the Euro zone who are interested in
selling the software and who reply to email?

 Thanks,

 Dennis

Or you could try the Dutch dealer:
KBS Systems BV in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, www.kbsv.nl. I've ordered my
upgrade already.
