All but me probably.

Actually, probably very few of us, when we started using these newest
versions. Every since Finale2009, it's felt like a new program to me,
one which I haven't had the time to fully acquaint myself with all the
new features of, and I've been using Finale since version 3.5, about 16
years or so.

So don't worry when you don't know where half the stuff you need is --
many of the rest of us who have been using the program far longer don't
know either. :-)

Sometimes. The person to whom you intend to send the score file has to
have the same, or a later version of Finale to open the file; if they
have a later version than you do, and they edit the file, if they send
the edited version back to you, you will not be able to open the file.

Usually, though, I've found the best practice to be to describe the
issue with which you want help first, as completely as you can. You
might want to make sure to mention the platform on which you're working,
and the version of Finale you're using. There are certain cross platform
issues that arise, but they are unlikely to be of much concern in your case.

2011-01-09 Thread Steve Parker

Of course.

I have a string quartet score with 'Lento' at the start. It is in the
Score and Violin 1 parts only.

I can delete it but not assign it to all parts.
It is simply missing.

I also have another instance similar.

A 'crotchet =' tempo indication is showing up at the top of the score
and above the cello part in the score.

I have no groups set.
Again I can only delete it or have it how it is.
?

Check the category manager with expressions. This one totally tripped me up.
