However, when I started it (I just typed grace in xterm), I couldn't find any graphical interface (just appeared grace:1 on the terminal). Is there any problem in my installation? Or is there any way to start the graphical interface? thanks Chun-Wei --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies. Re: [Fink-beginners] ps to eps?
Usually LaTeX can deal with epsi file format. you just have to write the write file name in your command: \includegraphics{yourfile.epsi} but if you are using TexShop on your OSX, I was told that it can also handle .png file format... M. Le 9 mars 04, à 12:12, Ari Lamstein a écrit : How can I convert a .ps file to a .eps file? The closest I've been able to find is ps2epsi, which converts .ps to .epsi. I'm trying to include a graphic in a latex document. From what I've read, I can only include a .eps file (using \usepackage{graphicx} and \includegraphics{files.eps}). Is this correct, or is there some way to get the .epsi file in my document? [Fink-beginners] x11 problem
Hello, I've tried to,install several package such as grace or xfig using Fink but an error occured each time telling me: You have an existing X11 installation in /usr/X11R6 and/or /etc/X11. This package refuses to overwrite these. Remove them, then tell Fink to install xfree86 again. (The package won't be recompiled.) If you want to keep your X11 installation, install system-xfree86 resp. system-xtools instead to make this known to Fink's package system. The problem is that fink does not find the packages system-xfree86 and system-xtools when I type fink install those packages do not appear also when I type fink list. Is there an alternative or bigger list with addiationnal packages ? thanks Matt --- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
