[Fink-devel] avr-binutils, avr-gcc, avr-libc, uisp from 10.3 unstable- stable

2004-12-04 Thread Matthias Ringwald
hi
I'm the maintainer of those packages and am using them since more than
half a year without any problems.
Other users problems with those packages were not related to the
packages themselves, so I'd like to propose
to move them to stable.

packages: avr-binutils, avr-gcc, avr-libc, uisp
thanks,
matthias ringwald

I'll take it if nobody else wants it.

I'm working on updated .infos for nessus 2.2.0.
So far so good, but I do have one question:
I remember people asking a long time ago what the policy was on -ssl
variants within the main tree.
I've folded -nox into a variant.
And I'm wondering if -ssl should also be folded into a variant, or if
I should keep -ssl .infos separately in the crypto tree.

thanks,
crh

I believe that you have either to have a separate -ssl .info under
crypto.

I have trouble parsing that sentence.

I may either have a variant or a separate -ssl?

Or I need to have a separate -ssl?

[Fink-devel] A Variants Question

2004-12-04 Thread Corey Halpin

Using the variants system, is there a succinct way to say This
package conflicts with all other variants of this package?
I'd like to be able to say that, but I can't find in the packaging
manual how to do it.

crh
