[Fink-devel] Inconsistency in Package Database

2009-07-28 Thread Christian Schaffner
Dear Fink Developers

There seems to be some inconsistencies in the pdb. A couple of examples:

1.)

Going to:

http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/svn-client?rel_id=10.5-i386-current-unstable

I see version 1.4.6-14 in the matrix at 10.5/i386,unstable,
however, the Description field shows version 1.6.3-1 (which is
correct).

2.)

Going to:

http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/svn-client

it shows the version info for 0.33.1-1, however, it should show the
latest version in unstable.

Could this be fixed?

Thanks for listening,
Christian.

Yup, it's known, and I haven't had time to figure out why it's happening
yet. The old PDB was busted in different ways, so I moved it to using a
nice optimized caching search-engine based on Lucene. I think it has
something to do with the incremental updates.

It might be better to start fresh...
