Is this stable tree? I didn't notice that gpc package is moved to
stable tree. Now revision 3 of gpc is on stable tree.

Why not build with --prefix=%p/lib/gpc , make symlinks from %p/bin to
the 3 executables,
and mv %p/lib/gpc/share to %p/share (presumably this last can also be
avoided by proper
setting of the different dirs in %c) ?
It looks nice if it is difficult to install shared libraries on proper
directory, but I don't think it is for now.

Re: [Fink-devel] /sw/lib/libgcc_s.dylib

Hi Jean-François,
I changed option and I think libgcc_s.dylib will be installed on
/sw/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin/3.4.3/ now. Thanks!

I would think if you can't fix this right-away, you should
pull the pkg in the meantime.

Hi,
gpc installs /sw/lib/libgcc_s.dylib .
I would think no pkg should install such files _ even compilers.
I get pkgs linked to this that have nothing to do with pascal..
Can't a layout be used like for the other compilers (gcc4, etc) ?

[Fink-devel] Re: Adopting some packages from Sekino san

2005-04-16 Thread Motoi Washida
Hi Shinra,
I asked the same question yesterday on IRC, but I didn't told you that.
On #fink...
wm3: hi. I am thinking of taking over jcode-pm package.
wm3: currently it seems no one maintains this package.
RangerRick: ok
wm3: thanks.
RangerRick: stuff with no maintainer is basically fair game
RangerRick: as long as you don't break it more than it potentially
already is, go for it, we're happy to have more maintained stuff :)
RangerRick: http://ranger.befunk.com/gallery/funny/aar
wm3: ok. maybe we will take over some packages previously maintained
by Masanori Sekino. thanks!
pogma: please do
