[Fink-devel] mirrors

2009-07-25 Thread Robert Wyatt
The auto-logs are showing that no cvs changes after moose was submitted
have been picked up, so changes to kdesvn-kde4 (-mac and -x11), scilab,
libtelepathy and telepathy-missioncontrol are not reflected on the mirrors.

- fetching files for moose-pm.info (10.4/unstable)
  - Moose-0.88.tar.gz...
/var/www/distfiles/md5/a9842e4bdf2ffceef7990d1edf14d033/Moose-0.88.tar.gz
does not exist, downloading

I don't think the problem is with moose.info, but I don't know where the
problem lies.

From the cvs changes for moose:
Source: mirror:cpan:authors/id/D/DR/DROLSKY/Moose-%v.tar.gz
-Source-MD5: 4cb9069378a8a7cece7960953ec37ccb
+Source-MD5: a9842e4bdf2ffceef7990d1edf14d033
MD5 (/Users/robertwyatt/Downloads/Moose-0.88.tar.gz) =
a9842e4bdf2ffceef7990d1edf14d033

Here's where the source lives:
http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/D/DR/DROLSKY/Moose-0.88.tar.gz
which apparently redirects to:
http://www.perl.com/CPAN/authors/id/D/DR/DROLSKY/Moose-0.88.tar.gz

Yes, the rsync mirrors don't currently sync, they stopped 16 hours ago.
Exceptions are ber.de.eu and hnd.jp.asi (up to date) and trd.no.eu
(stopped 3 weeks ago).

I think the issue is that Moose hasn't propagated to all the CPAN
mirrors yet, and Fink's mirroring script is hanging when it tries to
download from a not-updated mirror.

I got a whole bunch of updated info files this morning, so the

Thanks.

Many of the commits are going to a CVS branch of 10.4 that isn't for
general consumption, and so they won't show up on the rsync mirrors (nor
can an ordinary CVS selfupdate grab them).

There were updates to pil-py and cadabra today that were made to the
general CVS trunk, so see if you've gotten those.

Although...I just tried an rsync update and I didn't get the new pil-py*.

I don't have the new pil-py, nor cadabra, nor zsh-4.3.4-1 (from
yesterday, according to the RSS feed).

Thanks for the explanation that covers many of these commits, but
something still looks to be amiss.

[Fink-devel] Mirrors.

2003-12-09 Thread David Brown
Do I have to do anything to get my package to get copied to the mirrors
(ocaml)? It builds fine, but you have to explicitly tell it to go to
the original source URL.

Thanks,
Dave

[Fink-devel] mirrors list for mysql

Does fink define a mirrors list for mysql? How does one define a custom

Apparently not, mysql-3.23.52-4 has this URL hardcoded:

Source:
http://www.fh-wolfenbuettel.de/ftp/pub/database/mysql/Downloads/MySQL-3.23/%n-%v.tar.gz

How does one define a custom mirrors list?

Take a look at existing .info files, e.g. fink-0.10.0-1.info, to see
how it is done. Also look at the packaging manual.
