Hi. Seems there a problem with Tcl and serial ports with fink's Tcl build. I have a usb/serial dongle (Keyspan USA19HS) accessible as /dev/cu.USA19H... When I open the device under Tcl, fconfigure does not allow the -mode switch, i.e. the device is not recognized as a serial port. This problem has been already pointed out by some MacOSX users, seems there is a -DUSE_TERMIOS issue in compilation flags, as well as a hard wired detection of /dev/ttyS* names.

note: the problem does not occur in TclTk-Aqua,
which recognizes /dev/cu* serial ports.

Could somebody help me ?

S.
