Re: [Fink-devel] 10.5 emacs22 and sawfish

I just can't live without its ability to switch windows using regular expressions. Anyways, if anybody is interested I have updates for sawfish.patch and emacs22.patch. I finally got both working under OS X 10.5 (and X11). Also, as suggested I downgraded to X11 from 10.4. One problem I ran into was that I could add /usr/X11 to the libs path used by fink (it would compile fine manually, but it would not under fink). Fink seems to ignore my LDFLAGS env. variable. My quick-and-dirty solution was to also copy the rest of the /usr/X11R6 directory from my backups (10.4). It worked. --dmg Fink flushes the user environment before it builds, in an attempt to provide identical builds on different systems. What you can do is use SetLDFLAGS: /usr/X11 in the respective package .info files. - -- Alexander K.
