curl/types.h was a deprecated header from libcurl which finally got
removed fairly recently.

Updated libdap9 and libnc-dap3 packages should be available shortly via
"fink selfupdate".

[Fink-users] Problems with mechanics-oct*

2012-08-25 Thread Dominique Dhumieres
On ppc 10.5, updating to mechanics-oct343-1.3.0-2 seems to ignore
the atlas variants:

fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual dependency. The
candidates:

(1) octave343-dev: MATLAB-like language for computations
(2) octave343-x11-dev: MATLAB-like language for computations

On x86_64 10.6, I get

Can't resolve dependency "linear-algebra-oct360 ( >= 2.0.0 )" for package
"mechanics-oct360-1.3.0-1" (no matching packages/versions found)
Exiting with failure.

again the atlas variants are ignored.

TIA

Dominique

Re: [Fink-users] libnc-dap3-3.7.3-5 fails build due to no curl/types.h file

2012-08-25 Thread garykolson
While updating libnc-dap3-3.7.3-5, the build quickly encountered an error when
looking for "curl/types.h" header which was not found. I have curl and
libcurl4 both installed, but there is no /sw/include/curl/types.h file. The
build script may be looking for a types.h file somewhere else? There is no
such file in /sw/include/libnc-dap either.
