1)  It's best when the subject is specific, such as mentioning the 
package which isn't building.

2)  gnuplot is completely irrelevant here, since it's not the package 
that failed.

3)  It's useful to include information about your system.

In this case, though, I've got a good idea about what's going wrong 
here.  I just now put a newer texi2html (version 1.82) which fixes this 
issue into the 10.4/ tree, and that should be available shortly via 
"fink selfupdate".

Dominique,
 Can you send me a complete log in case the error is really further back? I 
built this package
with 'fink -m' on a dual G5 under darwin9 without issues.
