db3 is still installed. In building gnucash (at least its trying) I get the following issue with gconf. Indeed db3 wasn't installed. So I installed db3 and still got the following message. dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of fink-buildlock-gconf-1.0.9-51: fink-buildlock-gconf-1.0.9-51 depends on db3 (>= 3.3.11-23); however: Package db3 is not installed. /sw/bin/dpkg: error processing fink-buildlock-gconf-1.0.9-51 (--install): Is db3 still installed or did it get removed as part of the chain of building (e.g. by something else)? begin:vcard fn:Aron Trauring n:Trauring;Aron org:Zoteca adr;dom:Suite 195;;2444 Broadway;New York;NY;10024 email;internet:[EMAIL PROTECTED] title:CEO tel;work:+1 (917) 496-6240 tel;fax:+1 (212) 937-2026 tel;cell:+1 (347) 866-3686 note:http://fourm.info/ x-mozilla-html:TRUE url:http://www.zoteca.com/ version:2.1 end:vcard

There seems to be a conflict between Gnucash's dependency requirements and the sub-packages. They all require db3, but gnucash wants db43, so it uninstalls db3 and installs d43 and then these packages fail (I was misled into thinking db3 was still installed becuase finkcommander lists it as such, but I see where it gets uninstalled when db43 is installed). It has happened several times already. There still is a ways to go before I get it all compiled, but I wonder if it will work in the end because of this conflict. begin:vcard fn:Aron Trauring n:Trauring;Aron org:Zoteca adr;dom:Suite 195;;2444 Broadway;New York;NY;10024 email;internet:[EMAIL PROTECTED] title:CEO tel;work:+1 (917) 496-6240 tel;fax:+1 (212) 937-2026 tel;cell:+1 (347) 866-3686 note:http://fourm.info/ x-mozilla-html:TRUE url:http://www.zoteca.com/ version:2.1 end:vcard

Yes, it should work OK in the end. I found that I had to keep installing the dependencies individually whenever the db3/db43 issue arose.
