Re: [Firebird-net-provider] VS 2008 FB
I'm so close - I have updated the machine.config file to match what's listed in the GAC: gacutil.exe /l FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient I can now create a connection, but get an error after selecting table(s): APP_INFO Could not get column information for database object named 'APP_INFO' Thanks for all the help! I've installed the DDEX, Firebird client, and VS 2008 SDK. When I click on Add a new data source and then New Connection, Firebird Data Source is listed as an option. When I select and continue, the Add Connection dialog displays, but as soon as I type any character in any box, or change the dialect, etc., the Add Connection dialog closes immediately and the connection is not created. I was going to check out my GAC but on Vista, I'm can't find out where to look at the GAC. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kevin - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
