I think it was unistalled by Windows > Update. Firebird 1.5 is forcibly uninstalled by certain Windows updates, because it has known security vulnerabilities, and the installer is not allowed to run. The workaround is to rename the setup to - for example - just setup.exe. However, Firebird 1.5.6 was released 9 years ago and is no longer supported, it has known security vulnerabilities and bugs. Why, oh why, do you even have a copy of FB 1.5 to use? It has been long left behind by the Firebird project. Unsupported for years. Try a more recent version!
