Thank you for your help, my databases are mostly in Portuguese and I think
nowadays there isn't any relevant differences between pt-pt and pt-br, so
win1252 and win_ptbr are a good choice.

Hello all

Because of CORE-5940 and CORE-5947 I can't use anymore the collation
unicode_ci_ai, the greatest problems that I have is with the foreign keys,
they are unusable with multiple varchar fields.

I'm thinking of using WIN1252 with the collation WIN_PTBR but here is
also ISO8859_1
with the collation PT_BR, I asking your advice to choose the better
supported one.
